Launch of a new platform of experts

On the 5th of October 2005, a new internet platform was launched in Zurich: This “pool of experts” will enable SMEs to easily locate professionals and experts for starting up and expanding their business interests abroad.

SME trends: procurement from low-wage countries

The demand for outsourcing/offshoring is on the rise amongst Fargate clients: an increasing number of companies are outsourcing simple components and work processes to foreign shores.

Free phone calls via internet

The globalisation of the working world is being driven by new technologies in the world of telecommunications. Skype shows us how to dissolve geographical boundaries and distances.

Studies on export fitness and offshoring

Fargate has been nurturing a rather fruitful co-operation with the Higher College for Technology and Business in Chur (HTW) since 2001, particularly in the area of international entrepreneurship. September saw the wrapping up of three more of such studies on Fargate topics.

Fargate as a role model for young enterprises

On the 27th of October 2005, a function of the cantonal location marketing organisation called «Aargau Services» was organised in Brugg. Fargate did its bit by sharing some concrete examples from the course of its own development.

2005: Record year thanks to foreign business

The net gains of Swiss companies listed in the stock exchange are higher than ever before and the strains of the music of sweet success are coming from abroad. This could very well lead to profits in the domestic economy too.
